وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبَانَ الْجُعْفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سَلاَّمٌ أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ كُنْتُ جَالِسًا مَعَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ فَذَكَرُوا سِنِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ كَانَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَكْبَرَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم . قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قُبِضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَلاَثٍ وَسِتِّينَ وَمَاتَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَلاَثٍ وَسِتِّينَ وَقُتِلَ عُمَرُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَلاَثٍ وَسِتِّينَ . قَالَ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ يُقَالُ لَهُ عَامِرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ قَالَ كُنَّا قُعُودًا عِنْدَ مُعَاوِيَةَ فَذَكَرُوا سِنِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ قُبِضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَلاَثٍ وَسِتِّينَ سَنَةً وَمَاتَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَلاَثٍ وَسِتِّينَ وَقُتِلَ عُمَرُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَلاَثٍ وَسِتِّينَ .
Bize Abdullah b. Ömer b. Muhammed b. Eban El-Cu'fi rivayet etti. (Dediki): Bize Sellâm Ebû'l-Ahvas, Ebû îshâk'dan rivayet etti. (Şöyle demiş): Abdullah b. Utbe ile oturuyordum. Derken ResûluIIah (Sallallahu Aleyhi ve Sellem)'in yaşını andılar. Cemaattan bazıları Ebû Bekr ResûluIIah (Sallallahu Aleyhi ve Sellem)'den daha büyük idi, dediler. Abdullah şunları söyledi: ResûluIIah (Sallallahu Aleyhi ve Sellem) altmışüç yaşında vefat etti. Ebû Bekr altmışüç yaşında vefat etti. Ömer de altmışüç yaşında iken şehid edildi. Bunun üzerine cemaattan Âmir b. Sa'd denilen bir zât şunu söyledi. Bize Cerir rivayet etti. (Dediki): Muâviye'nin yanında oturuyorduk. Cemâat ResûluIIah (Sallallahu Aleyhi ve Sellem)'in yaşını andılar da Muâviye şunu söyledi: ResûluIIah (Sallallahu Aleyhi ve Sellem) altmışüç yaşında iken vefat etti. Ebû Bekr altmışüç yaşında iken vefat etti. Ömer de altmışüç yaşında iken şehid edildi
Abu Ishaq reported:I was sitting with 'Abdullah b. 'Utba and there was a discussion about the age of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). Some of the persons said: Abu Bakr was older than Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). 'Abdullah said: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) died when he was sixty-three, and Abu Bakr died when he was sixty-three and so 'Umar fell as a martyr when he was sixty-three. A person from the people who was called 'Amir b. Sa'd reported that Jabir had said: We were sitting with Mu'awiya that there was a discussion about the age of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). Thereupon Mu'awiya said: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) died when he had attained the age of sixty-three, and Abu Bakr died when he had attained the age of sixty-three, and Umar fell as a martyr when he had attained the age of sixty-three
Bu hadis Sahîh-i Müslim’de yer alır. Ümmet, Sahîhayn’daki (Buhârî ve Müslim) hadislerin sahih olduğunu kabul etmiştir.
