حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ غَزَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَوْمًا مِنْ جُهَيْنَةَ فَقَاتَلُونَا قِتَالاً شَدِيدًا فَلَمَّا صَلَّيْنَا الظُّهْرَ قَالَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ لَوْ مِلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ مَيْلَةً لاَقْتَطَعْنَاهُمْ ‏.‏ فَأَخْبَرَ جِبْرِيلُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ذَلِكَ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم - قَالَ - وَقَالُوا إِنَّهُ سَتَأْتِيهِمْ صَلاَةٌ هِيَ أَحَبُّ إِلَيْهِمْ مِنَ الأَوْلاَدِ فَلَمَّا حَضَرَتِ الْعَصْرُ - قَالَ - صَفَّنَا صَفَّيْنِ وَالْمُشْرِكُونَ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ - قَالَ - فَكَبَّرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَكَبَّرْنَا وَرَكَعَ فَرَكَعْنَا ثُمَّ سَجَدَ وَسَجَدَ مَعَهُ الصَّفُّ الأَوَّلُ فَلَمَّا قَامُوا سَجَدَ الصَّفُّ الثَّانِي ثُمَّ تَأَخَّرَ الصَّفُّ الأَوَّلُ وَتَقَدَّمَ الصَّفُّ الثَّانِي فَقَامُوا مَقَامَ الأَوَّلِ فَكَبَّرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَكَبَّرْنَا وَرَكَعَ فَرَكَعْنَا ثُمَّ سَجَدَ وَسَجَدَ مَعَهُ الصَّفُّ الأَوَّلُ وَقَامَ الثَّانِي فَلَمَّا سَجَدَ سَجَدَ الصَّفُّ الثَّانِي ثُمَّ جَلَسُوا جَمِيعًا سَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ ثُمَّ خَصَّ جَابِرٌ أَنْ قَالَ كَمَا يُصَلِّي أُمَرَاؤُكُمْ هَؤُلاَءِ ‏.‏

Bize Ahmed b. Abdillâh b-. Yûnus rivayet etti. (Dediki): Bize Züheyr rivayet etti. (Dediki): Bize Ebû'z-Zübeyr, Câbir'den naklen rivayet etti. Câbir şöyle demiş; Resûlullah (Sallallahu Aleyhi ve Sellem) ile birlikde Cüheyneli bir kavme karşı harb ettik. Bizimle şiddetli Mr Çarpışma yaptılar. Öğle'yi kıldığımız vakit müşrikler : Bu müslümanların üzerine bir hamle yapsak onları mutlaka perişan ederdik; dediler. Bunu hemen Cibril, Resûlullah (Sallallahu Aleyhi ve Sellem)'e haber vermiş, Oda bize söyledi, Ve buyurdu ki: «Müşrikler: az sonra onların çocuklarından daha çok sevdikleri namaz vakti gelecek; dediler.» İkindi olunca Resûlullah (Sallallahu Aleyhi ve Sellem) bizi iki saff yaptı. Müşrikler kıble ile aramızda bulunuyorlardı. Derken ResûluIIah (Sallallahu Aleyhi ve Sellem) tekbîr aldı; biz de tekbîr aldık. O rükû' etti; biz de rükû' ettik. Sonra secdeye vardı. Onunla birlikde ilk saff da secdeye vardı. Onlar kalktığı vakit ikinci saff da secde ettiler. Sonra ilk saff geri çekildi; ikinci saff ilerleyerek, birinci saff'ın yerine durdular. ResûluIIah (Sallallahu Aleyhi ve Selleni) (yine) tekbîr aldı; biz de tekbîr aldık. O rükû' etti; biz de rükû' ettik. Secdeye vardı; onunla beraber ilk saff secde etti; ikinci saff ayakta kaldı. İkinci saff da secde ettiği vakit toptan oturdular. ResûluIIah (Sallallahu Aleyhi ve Sellem) onlara selâm verdi. Ebû'z-Zübeyr: «Sonra Câbir hassaten şunu söyledi: Şu sizin emirlerinizin kıldığı gibi...» demiş. İzah 843 te

Jabir reported:We fought In the company of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) with the tribe of Juhaina. They fought with us terribly. When we had finished the noon prayer, the polytheists said: Had we attacked them at once. we would have killed them. Gabriel informed the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about It (about their evil design). The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) made a mention of it to us, adding that they (the polytheists) had also said: Shortly there would be time for the 'Asr prayer. which is dearer o them (the Muslims) than even their children. So when the time of the 'Asr prayer came. we formed ourselves into two rows, while the polytheists were between us and the Qibla. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Allah is Most Great, and we also said so. He bowed and we also bowed. He went down in prostration and the first row prostrated along with him. When they stood up, the second row went down in prostration. Then the first row went into the rear, and the second row came in the front and occupied the place of the first row. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) then said: Allah is Most Great, and we also said so. He then bowed, and we also bowed. He then went down in prostration and along with him the row also (went down in prostration), and the second row remained standing. And when the second row had also prostrated and all of them sat down then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) pronounced salutation to them. Abu Zubair said: Jabir made a mention specially of this thing: just as your chiefs observe prayer

Bu hadis Sahîh-i Müslim’de yer alır. Ümmet, Sahîhayn’daki (Buhârî ve Müslim) hadislerin sahih olduğunu kabul etmiştir.
